Happy Humpday!

Hi everyone

after a busy few days at work I decided to finish on time today and finish off a card that I started last night. A while ago I bought a rubber stamp from 'Crafty Sellers' group on Facebook. I don't know the name of the stamp but understand it to be one of Sylvia Zet's beutiful girls. I don't know if its a Wee stamp or one that Sylvia did for SCACD.  Anyway after doing lots and lots of Googling and trawling through Pinterest and facebook I think I found the name of the stamp is 'Hope' but I cannot find this online anywhere so I am assuming it is retired. If anyone knows differently please get in touch as I always like to link up to give the artist credit.

Ok so onto the card...

Sugar Nellie - Hazel & Nutty! (pic heavy)

Hi everyone

today I want to show you a card that I have made using a gorgeous image from Sugar Nellie. I am going to tease you a little though as it looks like this image is no longer available in the Sugar Nellie store so if you like it - sorry it's no longer there ( I have asked on the Sugar Nellie FB page to confirm if its been discontinued so I will update this post if I find anything out.

Anyway before I show you the card I want to say a huge thank you to Julie Price. Julie is an amazing crafter right round the other side of the world from me in Australia ( I just love how through crafting I have met lots of lovely people from all over the world). Anyway, I saw one of Julie's cards on Pinterest and I loved it and knew I wanted to use the layout to create my own card like it. I always like to contact the original crafter if a card I am going to make is 'copying' their idea of layout and Julie very kindly agreed that I could use her card for this inspiration. You can see Julie's original card HERE along with checking out her pretty amazing blog - I could spend hours on there looking through all the great projects especially the 3d projects - wow they are amazing.

Ok so let me show you my take on this layout.

Lace, Ribbon, Diamantes, Buckles - Brenda's Lace & Ribbon Specials
Beaded Twirls & Silver Corner - That Craft Place
Tiny Bottle & Microbeads - my stash

The insert card pulls out to reveal a hidden sentiment 'She Leaves A Little Sparkle Wherever She Goes' This is a cutfile phrase from the Silhouette store that I filled in with colour and set to 'no cut' then just printed it out.
